By default Gerard is going to be taken after he goes to America but before he dies there. The wiki does not mention it but during this time he suffers quite a few burn scars on his body though none on his head, with an eye tattoo on the skin over every single joint on his body.
If you have any other timeline prefs just let me know, he's got a well documented enough life that I can draw him anywhere from shitty goth teenager to post mortem haunted book version.
Using Rob Raco for pb as I couldn't find enough images of dark haired Gerard way like the internet is against my stupid joke.
